Obviously if you can 5 for X, youre likely to get a land and a creature on to the battlefield, and at that point were talking about something thats way better, since it gives you something on the board immediately
I know that evaluating the printed toughness of the card is an incomplete picture, but Magic's keen on one-upping themselves as far as high toughness numbers go, and we see payoffs for the archetypes frequently enough
