The rules were much simpler, and the rapid-fire style of using basic Pokemon, employing energy cards and gathering prize cards to secure victory definitely made it enjoyable
Its extremely important to get on the battlefield early with creatures that can attack planeswalkers, and that strategy is ideal because even if the opponent doesnt have planeswalkers, its a good setup for winning the game
Interestingly, this was the last prize card ever with the winners name and region printed on it
