SORCERER The most important question when creating a Sorcerer in D&D is the origin of their power
They slot into the top of bins
On its own, it only taps a creature, which is weak in EDHbut once you have three artifacts (metalcraft), it becomes Swords to Plowshares without the life gain
The 1/1 bears also get another -1/-1 counter, bringing their toughness to zero, and dying as a state-based action (more on why this matters in a bit)
With Tergrid's effects, it fits into any forced sacrifice or discard decks, as it's a way to get around the downside of often being one-for-one trades by putting them on your side of the battlefield or having a static ability to force the sacrifice and discard
It still struggles with destroying artifacts, although Gate to PhyrexiaGate to Phyrexia is right there for those interested in jumping through hoops
