I eventually cut Mana Drain from the cube along with the other power cards as I found it not only too powerful but far too random and swingy
Now it mostly sees play in formats like cEDH
this one can be souped up by allowing your opponent to take prizes (up to 330 damage if your opponents taken 5 prizes) which is easy to fulfill when combined with cards that knock themselves out, like Dusknoir
